Una custodia progettata per chi il Field Target lo pratica davvero
Quando si pratica Field Target, il trasporto dell'attrezzatura non è un aspetto secondario. Una carabina da gara, soprattutto quando equipaggiata con un'ottica importante e tutti gli accessori necessari, richiede una custodia capiente, robusta e soprattutto ben organizzata.
Per questo ho voluto provare la Ulfhednar Guncover Field Target UH034, una custodia realizzata dalla norvegese Ulfhednar, azienda che negli ultimi anni si è fatta conoscere per la produzione di equipaggiamento di alta qualità destinato al mondo del tiro e dell'outdoor.
Dopo averla utilizzata personalmente durante le gare di Field Target, posso dire che è un prodotto che mi ha convinto sotto diversi aspetti.
COSTRUZIONE E MATERIALI
La prima cosa che colpisce prendendo in mano la Guncover è la qualità costruttiva.
La custodia misura 120 × 42 × 8 cm ed è realizzata con materiali che trasmettono immediatamente una sensazione di robustezza.
La cura delle rifiniture è particolarmente evidente: cuciture, bordature, cerniere e sistemi di trasporto sono realizzati con grande attenzione.
Le cerniere sono YKK, sinonimo di affidabilità, e sono presenti su tutte le tasche.
Anche la grande apertura centrale è dotata di una cerniera di qualità e presenta due fori predisposti per l'utilizzo di un lucchetto, una soluzione semplice ma molto utile per chi desidera maggiore sicurezza durante il trasporto.
QUATTRO TASCHE FRONTALI
Uno degli aspetti che ho apprezzato maggiormente è l'organizzazione degli spazi.
Sul lato anteriore troviamo quattro grandi tasche, decisamente capienti e utili per trasportare tutto quello che normalmente può servire durante una gara.
Attrezzi, piccoli accessori, pallini, asciugamano, cronografo e altri oggetti possono essere organizzati senza dover utilizzare ulteriori borse.
Particolarmente interessante è il rivestimento esterno delle tasche, realizzato in Velcro.
Questo permette di personalizzare completamente la custodia con patch, loghi, nome del tiratore, simboli della propria squadra o qualsiasi altra patch compatibile.
Un dettaglio semplice, ma che personalmente trovo molto azzeccato.
TRASPORTO A ZAINO
Un altro punto forte della Guncover UH034 è il sistema di trasporto.
Sul retro sono presenti due ampi spallacci regolabili, che permettono di trasportare la custodia come uno zaino.
Durante una gara di Field Target questa soluzione è estremamente comoda: permette di avere entrambe le mani libere e rende molto più semplici gli spostamenti sul campo.
Gli spallacci possono essere regolati in base alla propria corporatura e, una volta indossata, la custodia risulta ben gestibile anche durante gli spostamenti più lunghi.
Per il trasporto tradizionale sono invece presenti due maniglie nella parte superiore, che possono essere unite tra loro per rendere più comoda la presa.
L'INTERNO
Anche l'organizzazione interna è stata curata molto bene.
La carabina può essere fissata attraverso le apposite cinghie di ritenzione, evitando che si muova liberamente durante il trasporto.
È presente inoltre una comoda tasca interna e, cosa che ho trovato particolarmente utile, numerosi elastici portaoggetti.
Questi permettono di sistemare in modo ordinato piccoli accessori e strumenti, evitando che si muovano liberamente all'interno della custodia.
L'organizzazione interna è quindi pensata non soltanto per proteggere la carabina, ma anche per permettere al tiratore di avere la propria attrezzatura sempre ordinata e facilmente accessibile.
LA MIA ESPERIENZA SUL CAMPO
Questa non è una recensione fatta semplicemente osservando il prodotto.
Io utilizzo personalmente la Ulfhednar Guncover UH034 per trasportare la mia carabina durante le gare di Field Target.
Ed è proprio sul campo che, secondo me, emergono i suoi punti di forza.
La grande capacità permette di trasportare la carabina insieme a una buona quantità di accessori, mentre le numerose tasche consentono di organizzare il materiale in maniera molto più razionale rispetto a una normale custodia.
Gli spallacci sono particolarmente utili negli spostamenti sul campo gara e la possibilità di trasformare la custodia praticamente in uno zaino è una caratteristica che apprezzo molto.
Dopo averla utilizzata personalmente, mi sto trovando davvero molto bene.
Ora passiamo a un breve riassunto dei pro e dei contro:

- Il principale aspetto da considerare è che non è una custodia pensata per chi cerca il minimo ingombro possibile.
Le dimensioni e la dotazione di tasche e sistemi di trasporto la rendono una custodia completa e strutturata, quindi chi cerca una soluzione estremamente compatta e minimale potrebbe preferire un prodotto diverso. Per l'utilizzo specifico nel Field Target, però, questa caratteristica per me rappresenta più un vantaggio che uno svantaggio.
- Il costo, sebbene la qualità è altissima e i materiali usati sono di altissimo livello, il prezzo potrebbe spaventare un po gli acquirenti, ma posso dire che sono soldi ben spesi e li vale tutti.
VERDETTO
La Ulfhednar Guncover Field Target UH034 mi ha convinto soprattutto per un motivo: è evidente che dietro al progetto c'è stata una particolare attenzione alle esigenze di chi utilizza realmente una carabina da Field Target.
Non è semplicemente una custodia dove mettere la carabina.
È un sistema di trasporto che permette di organizzare arma, ottica e accessori in maniera ordinata, proteggendoli e rendendo più semplici gli spostamenti durante le competizioni.
La qualità dei materiali, le finiture, le cerniere YKK, le numerose tasche, il rivestimento in Velcro, gli spallacci e l'organizzazione interna sono tutti elementi che contribuiscono a rendere il prodotto estremamente funzionale.
Dopo averla utilizzata personalmente nelle competizioni, posso dire che mi sto trovando davvero bene e la consiglio vivamente a chi pratica Field Target e cerca una custodia completa, robusta e costruita con particolare attenzione alla qualità.
Ulfhednar conferma ancora una volta una filosofia costruttiva molto orientata alla qualità e alla funzionalità, caratteristiche che personalmente apprezzo molto nell'attrezzatura da tiro.

English A gun case designed for those who really practice Field Target
When you practice Field Target, transporting your equipment is not a secondary matter. A competition rifle, especially when equipped with a large scope and all the necessary accessories, requires a case that is spacious, robust and, above all, well organized.
For this reason, I decided to try the Ulfhednar Guncover Field Target UH034, a case made by the Norwegian company Ulfhednar, a brand that has become well known in recent years for producing high-quality equipment for the shooting and outdoor world.
After using it personally during Field Target competitions, I can say that it is a product that has impressed me in several respects.
CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS
The first thing you notice when you pick up the Guncover is its excellent build quality.
The case measures 120 × 42 × 8 cm and is made from materials that immediately give a feeling of strength and durability.
The attention to detail is particularly evident: stitching, edges, zippers and carrying systems are all made with great care.
The zippers are YKK, well known for their reliability, and are used on all the pockets.
The main central opening is also equipped with a high-quality zipper and features two holes for attaching a padlock, a simple but very useful solution for anyone who wants an additional level of security when transporting their rifle.
FOUR LARGE FRONT POCKETS
One of the features I appreciate most is the organization of the storage space.
On the front of the case there are four large and spacious pockets, which are very useful for carrying everything that may normally be needed during a competition.
Tools, small accessories, pellets, a towel, chronograph and other equipment can all be organized without having to carry additional bags.
Another particularly interesting detail is the Velcro-covered outer surface of the pockets.
This allows you to completely customize the case with patches, logos, the shooter's name, team symbols or any other compatible patch.
It is a simple detail, but personally I find it extremely well thought out.
BACKPACK CARRYING SYSTEM
Another strong point of the Guncover UH034 is its carrying system.
On the back there are two wide, adjustable shoulder straps, allowing the case to be carried like a backpack.
During a Field Target competition, this is extremely convenient: it keeps both hands free and makes moving around the course much easier.
The shoulder straps can be adjusted to suit the user's body size and, once worn, the case is comfortable and easy to manage even during longer walks.
For traditional carrying, there are also two handles on the top, which can be brought together to make carrying by hand more comfortable.
THE INTERIOR
The interior has also been very carefully designed.
The rifle can be secured using the dedicated retention straps, preventing it from moving freely during transportation.
There is also a convenient internal pocket and, something I found particularly useful, numerous elastic accessory loops.
These allow you to keep small accessories and tools neatly organized, preventing them from moving freely inside the case.
The internal organization is therefore designed not only to protect the rifle, but also to allow the shooter to keep all their equipment organized and easily accessible.
MY EXPERIENCE ON THE FIELD
This is not a review based simply on looking at the product.
I personally use the Ulfhednar Guncover UH034 to transport my rifle during Field Target competitions.
And it is precisely on the field that, in my opinion, its strengths really become apparent.
The generous capacity allows me to carry the rifle together with a good amount of accessories, while the numerous pockets make it possible to organize everything much more efficiently than with a standard rifle case.
The backpack straps are particularly useful when moving around the competition field, and the possibility of carrying the case as a backpack is a feature that I really appreciate.
After using it personally, I am very happy with it and it has performed extremely well for me.
Now let's take a brief look at the pros and cons.

Its dimensions, combined with the large number of pockets and carrying systems, make it a complete and structured rifle case.
Therefore, anyone looking for an extremely compact and minimalist solution might prefer a different product.
For Field Target use, however, I personally consider this characteristic more of an advantage than a disadvantage.
- Price
The price may initially be a little intimidating for some buyers.
However, considering the very high quality of the materials, the excellent construction and the level of attention to detail, I believe the investment is justified.
In my opinion, it is money well spent and the case is worth every penny.
VERDICT
The Ulfhednar Guncover Field Target UH034 convinced me above all for one reason: it is clear that the product was designed with particular attention to the needs of people who actually use a Field Target rifle.
It is not simply a case in which to put your rifle.
It is a complete carrying system that allows you to organize your rifle, scope and accessories in an orderly way, protecting them while making transportation much easier during competitions.
The quality of the materials, the excellent finishing, the YKK zippers, the numerous pockets, the Velcro surfaces, the backpack straps and the internal organization are all features that contribute to making this a highly functional product.
After personally using it in competitions, I can say that I am very happy with it and I highly recommend it to anyone who practices Field Target and is looking for a complete, robust case built with particular attention to quality.
Ulfhednar once again demonstrates a philosophy strongly focused on quality, functionality and attention to detail, characteristics that I personally value greatly in shooting equipment.
